The Italian Greyhound is believed to have originated as far back as 2,000 years ago in Mediterranean, where the present Greece🇬🇷 and Turkey🇹🇷. Their popularity grew in Italy in the 16th century, had a past with the nobility and aristocracy, and became the subject of paintings, sculpture and ornaments during the Renaissance.
The Iggys are smaller, slender, miniature version of the Greyhounds. They are playful, affectionate, kind-mannered, adore their human companions.
